My dear friend, Tat Erredge, passed away July, 2021. I wrote this essay in 2014, a few years after we had gone our separate ways. While it is certainly not my best work nor is it academically sound by any means, it does offer some insight into my life and a way to honor my friend by keeping his memory alive. There are many personal statements and some fun stories. To this end the Appendix-A attached might be more interesting than the essay itself, as I believe the story of the Tree’s suffered in the essay was mired by my attempt to entwine our story with Religious Studies Theory I was working with at the time. At times I think I sound quite arrogant, but no matter I think it is more important to offer this work back to the void that this the internet to honor my friend Tat. I love you buddy, rest easy.
